Went as part of a party of 10 to celebrate some birthdays. I'm not really a fan of hibachi but it is fun to go to with a group. I ordered a collection of spicy sushi rolls and they were a little disappointing. The hibachi chef was entertaining and easily accommodated the special requests for low sodium and dealing with shrimp allergies. The service was good so overall not a bad experience if hibachi is your thing.

This place does the trick, but it's just strip mall sushi, nothing special. I went today for lunch, and got the three roll sushi special with a Philly roll, Spicy Salmon roll, and an Eel Avocado roll. The included miso soup was good; not too salty, decent taste, though it could have had more seaweed and scallions in it. Once the rolls came, they were artfully arranged, but really didn't taste like anything. The best roll was the Eel Avocado, the other two were just 'meh'. The interior was very nice, though. The fountain inside was a nice touch, though I was very surprised that there were so few tables. I didn't see where the hibachi tables were, but the sushi bar and regular bar look pretty inviting. I'd go here again, simply because it's both around the corner from my hotel, as well as around the corner from my office. Would I hit this place up for dinner? No. I'll be searching for another place that has tastier sushi to be my new sushi home in Charleston. Oh, also, someone else commented that you get your check in the middle of your meal, and they don't even ask you if you'd like another drink or dessert. I experienced the same thing. Weird.

It is always so dead when we come here and I honestly don't know why. The sushi is great fresh made and always delicious. It's a nice dark cool blue atmosphere just like the picture shows and the food is reasonably priced for how much they give you. They don't have beer on draft and that is one drawback. They have a hibachi room, but I have not yet been back there, seeing how we are quite content with the sushi and noodle dishes they offer in the main dinning room.

My husband and I just moved to North Charleston and decided to try this Hibatchi grill. When we walked through the doors the hostess gave us the option to sit at a booth, or at the traditional Hibatchi grill tables. We chose the table and were sated immediately. We were the only ones to sit at our table and the soup and salad were about the same as any Hibatchi place. We both ordered the Hibatchi chicken and it was fantastic. The veggies were great too and they give you plenty of rice. It was very tasty. Upon my next visit I returned with a friend and we sat at the sushi bar. For an appetizer we ordered Nagiri (I believe it was called). It was shrimp and veggies wrapped in fresh cucumbers. This was absolutely fantastic. If you like sushi this is a must have. We then ordered some of their mango flavored sake and were not disappointed. For our entrees we ordered the honey moon roll, the Philly roll, and the spicy lovers roll. The honey moon roll had roe all in it and was slightly sweet. It's now one of my favorites. The Philly roll was great, but I was blown away by the spicy lovers roll. It was rolled with spicy tuna and topped with salmon and two delicious sauces. It was so good. I was practically inhaling it. The best sushi I've had in charleston hands down. The wait staff and cooks were super friendly and very prompt. The ambiance is different than anywhere I have been though. There is a lot of blue lighting but it works out nicely with all of the stained glass and the terrarium in the center. I've been to Sake House several times and will continue to do so. It's my go to place for sushi and Hibatchi now! I love it!

Very fun hibachi experience! We figured out why they call it sake house, too...during the hibachi show they will squirt sake into your mouth if you are up for it and of legal drinking age! We thought they were kidding at first, but they were serious. The food is great and reasonably priced. We happened to go during the early bird time, and were pleasantly surprised. They offer this from 4 to 6 on the weekdays as well as on the weekend (but the hours for this special are slightly different). I had vegetable hibachi for $10.95 and the hubby had the chicken and shrimp hibachi dinner for $14.95, both of which came with soup, salad, fried rice, vegetables, and a shrimp appetizer plus whatever special item you order. They give you a lot of food and it was done very well, too. I am never one for quantity over quality. This place has both. I haven't tried the sushi so I am not sure if this is a good place for that or not. The hubby and I even had leftover fried rice and veggies and they were even awesome reheated. We will definitely be back. A fun, not stuffy, hibachi restaurant with great food- Sake House gets 4 stars, no problem!

Great Service outstanding sushi. I ordered spring rolls, very tasty. I ordered a variety of sashimi and sushi. All great!

Have done both sushi bar and hibachi and both were very good. I agree with the other review that it is always dead and I don't know why.
(5)Jessica B.
I enjoy going to Sake House because you can get a large amount of food (during their lunch special) for a reasonable price. They offer a "box" lunch- which includes a teriyaki option (chicken, beef, or shrimp) which comes with white or fried rice, 4 pieces of a california roll, soup or salad and a spring roll. It is a large portion and I usually always end up bringing it home for finishing at a later time. They do have a hibachi area, which I have not tried yet- but will try at a later date. The service is always polite- but the wait times to get your food are ridiculous. That takes away a star, for sure. When I have the time, I certainly go here for lunch- but during the week when I'm working, I have to stay away or get a to-go/call ahead order since it would take too long to go in and sit down. The decor of the restaurant is pretty bland. It does have a fountain type pond thing in the center- which is nice. It is so dark inside, though. The booths are also kind of weird- the seats are so far from the table. For a shorter person (aka: me) it is hard to eat without sitting right on the edge of the bench. Ask for a table/chairs if you have short arms/legs like me! If you have the time and are looking for a cheap, but delicious meal- I'd recommend going by.

Went in on a Friday night. It was not that busy at all. Surprised to not see a waitress at the front, no greeter at all so I made my way to the sushi bar. I read the reviews prior, but as a sushi fan, I had to try...I was hungry...and it was close to the hotel. I figured out why this restaurant doesn't have good ratings. #1 Attention to detail #2 lack of good management. Everything about this restaurant screams "Wow, this place has great potential, and location, but clearly the management doesn't care or operate the way it should be". Here are some Bad highlights: #1 Bathrooms are nasty, and trash is full. Friday night, not busy in the restaurant. Send someone to clean every couple hours. It will do you good. My grandmother always said, if the bathrooms aren't clean, imagine what the kitchen looks like... #2 Sushi Bar- All sushi orders are taken from the bar. Sure, that's typical, but the Chef places the order ticket ON TOP OF THE PREPARED SUSHI, the waitress takes the ticket off and puts it on the fulfilled order stick in the middle of the bar (sometimes the order ticket had sushi garnish and/or sauce on it...gross). Open for the world to see. Disgusting. Where has that paper receipt been? Glad I ordered at the bar, cause I didn't get receipt particles stuck to the sushi. This is really distracting to everyone sitting at the sushibar and it reminds me of trying to get a drink at a college bar...people all circling around picking up sushi...and me trying to concentrate on my meal. Dear Manager: "Dedicate an area where people pick up sushi, and hide those nasty order tickets...oh and don't put them on TOP of prepared meals" #3 General Cleanliness/ setup - Expanding upon the sushi bar, there is no attention to detail at all here. For example, the directv box is just randomly resting on top of the TV, no mounting system, just weird. Dish washers frequently refresh platters/plates, and they don't look like they care wearing their headphones while walking around. #4 Sushi assistant - Apparently the Chef has an assistant. Only thing I saw him do is watch the basketball game on the TV behind me. Here are some good highlights: #1 ordered the rawest of raw fish. Had i seen the bathrooms before I ordered, I probably wouldn't have even bought anything, but the sashimi was really good. Sushi chef was really nice but obviously rushing to fulfill orders with his 'assistant' just watching basketball. I was satisfied and I'm still full. #2 Waitstaff Seemed friendly and eager to help out once they were there to take my order. #3 Price is OK.. About 50 bucks for a bottle of medium priced Sake and a large Sashimi plater. I don't think I'll be back. There are too many other better options in Charleston to make a second visit. Attention to detail and clear lack of management make this place a 'not recommended' in my book. Only reason why it gets two stars instead of one is the food wasn't horrible and the waitstaff and sushi chef were both really friendly.
(2)Lori M.
We were told to "wait by the pond" a couple minutes. 20 minutes later we saw them seating others walking in the door getting seated right away. They told us they forgot about us. Then the waiter came back to the table three times to ask what our order was "again." Haven't tasted the food yet but expectations are not high.
(1)Cheryl H.
We had a great experience at sake! The chef was funny. The fillet was very tender, a great value. I love the sake squirted across the table to your mouth! But WTF is yum yum sauce???? Gross! I'll tell you this , there is NO yum yum sauce in Japan !!
(5)Ashley M.
So we walk in and the hostess greeting us super pleasant. So far so good... Wrong!!! We sit down no one has come over to ask us for our order and then thank god for josh... Wrong again! He greets us with a tangent stating sticky sauce and missing pens are the worst thing ever and he hates cleaning up tries to write down our drink order and can't because "shit, this ones dead too" then proceeds to throw the pen on the table towards us and runs off in a frantic manner. Now, I'm not a pro at reading people I just work with people for my own job and have to be super pleasant so I understand bad days but when you see someone who seems to be coming down from drugs it's another matter. Yes, I know what I'm saying, our waiter dearest josh seemed as though he was coming off drugs. He was shaking and his eyes were moving much faster than his mouth. So much so that when I asked him his name it seemed to escape him. He didn't know his name!! Finally he comes back with a pen and all seems good in the world again. We order our food and it's good but the service was so terrible and made my friends feel uncomfortable we will not be returning.

My girlfriend and I went there for sushi on a Saturday night. My first impression was that the restaurant is extremely dark with black lights as lighting. We are both relatively young and we could barely see our menus because of the lighting. It had more of a club vibe to it. After 10 minutes of not even having our drink order taken and noticing how filthy our booth/floors were, we decided to leave.
(1)Justin C.
Coming in here for the first time. Setting is nice, with nice asian peaceful music. (I'll give it a star for that alone) FOOD. I had the combo teriyaki of shirmp and steak. Asked the steak to be medium, came out well done, shirmp was overcooked,

Been here a few times. Customer service has always been above average. The sushi is always on spot. Miso soup is also great!
(5)Will M.
We had a great dinner here. The sushi was fresh and served very quickly. We had a the Spider Roll and the Tuna Lovers roll. Delicious!! We also had the salad with Ginger dressing and a bowl of the clear soup. Allison did a great job of taking care of us. The place is very clean and has an upscale atmosphere. We will be back again when we are in town.
(5)John C.
Tuesday is half price Sushi night! A good selection to choose from very good, weel prepared and presented. Was absolutly stuffed with a glass of wine for under $30. Such a deal! I'll be back next time I'm in Chucktown.
(4)Ryan H.
The Sashimi was very fresh, some of the freshest I've had. I was in town for a week and had to come back a second time before leaving. Both times I ordered the sashimi combo which was an excellent deal for the quality and size of the serving. The miso soup was also top notch. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lack of original maki rolls and the lighting. The lighting is very blue almost like a black light which would be fine for a bar or club, but I do like to see what I am eating without color distortion. Albeit I did think it was kinda cool until I realized I couldn't see my food very well. (Perhaps the addition of some kind of table light that can be optionally turned on/off?) Nevertheless, AAA fish! Hope I have an opportunity to come back. Cheers!

I've been to a lot of sushi places and this place is the best. I didn't expect that in Charleston SC...but here it is. I guess being so close to the ocean helps. The prices are fantastic too. 3 of us shared 4 bottles of sake and repeat orders of sushi and I think our bill was only like $70.
(5)Kea L.
This place is sooooo good well the sushi anyways.. once you've had one hibachi youve had them all. I only and always get the crunchy roll with the crab meat on top of it OMG amazing. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed im always there around lunch before the crowd hits so its pretty cool. Recommended to anyone who likes hibachi and sushi I think it's the best in town...

I went here with a co-worker last week for lunch. This isn't my usual neighborhood but we were in the area attending a seminar and ended up choosing Sake House amongst the sea of chain restaurants nearby. The inside is nice and has a fountain in the middle. However, I kind of feel like they're trying a little too hard with the decor and the all black bathrooms. Nevertheless, it looks better than most sushi places. I don't do raw fish but my co-worker got the yellowtail with jalapenos appetizer and said it was awesome. We both ordered hibachi chicken. He had miso soup and I had salad with ginger dressing. The food was all very good with generous portions, but pretty much what you'd expect. Our service was ok, not bad but not amazing. But here's the conversation that took place to explain my 3 star rating: Him: Do you smell that? Me: Yeah. What do you think it is? Him: I don't know. It smells like B.O. Me: No, you think? Him: Yeah. Me: Where's it coming from? (smells the table) Him: Why'd you do that? Me: I thought maybe it was the cleaner they use. So we never figured out what the smell was but I'm thinking it wasn't a particular nearby person but either that our booth had the smell or it was the entire restaurant. At times, I'd be eating and would get a big whiff of it. Not so appetizing. Maybe it was a fluke day and it doesn't usually smell like that (let's hope so!). I would say that I would try it again if I'm in the neighborhood to find out but chances are I won't be.

I've had the joy and privilege of visiting this place several times. I've tried the hibachi and though I'm not a fan of their hibachi compared to say Miyabi's it has it perks. So far they are one of the only restaurants I've encountered that put egg in my rice and that alone gets them one star. The real reason for my glowing review is there sushi. Oh, the number of dates this place has saved me on just for the sushi alone has been worth its weight in gold. The sashimi is always fresh and the rolls always come out in a way that is worthy of a thousand photos. The crunchy roll is my favorite and the Philly roll is heaven to me cause most of the other restaurants serve it with avocado and Sake House serves theirs with cucumber. Love this place!

I read the other reviews prior to coming to sake house. My son wanted to come here for his birthday. We went on a Sunday lunch. Quiet, clean, and our waitress was wonderful. We ordered sushi and my children loved it. We sat at the hibachi table we had our salad & soup. My kids scarfed that down like it was the best thing in the world. Their ginger based sauce is excellent. I've tried other places and never really liked it but theirs was just right for my palate. Egg toss! My husband ordered scallop & chicken and he ate it all. The mixed veggie stir fry was very good. Seasoned to perfection. The children & I had steak & shrimp. It was delicious. The rice was good and not as salty as some hibachi places. Everything was seasoned properly. I fell sometimes some chefs go to a soy sauce over load. The portion are smaller but we didn't mind because the food was delicious. We celebrated my sons birthday and Rey brought out drums & disco light and happy birthday song. It was fun. He had a fried ice cream. It was very good. Over all this was fun. The ambiance was very nice. Food was good. Bathroom were clean. Chef was very polite. Waitress is wonderful. We would come again.
(5)Julie B.
This is not my favorite hibachi restaurant but they pour sake into your mouth...which is always a good time!
(3)Nicholas R.
Very nice interior, and pleasant waitstaff, but the food just wasn't there. Well, the entree at least; my miso and fried rice were good, but the katsu wasn't on par. This is definitely a nicer restaurant, with the decor and moderate prices to match, but I was not impressed with the food. And I was hungry when I showed up.
(3)James C.
the reason why i am rating this place with 3 stars is because of the food only. the server joseph was horrible. joseph never introduced his self. the only reason i know his name is because of the receipt. the fist refill didnt come till we was ready for the check. joseph only checked on us at the end of the meal. joseph paid us absolutely no attention. i felt horrible taking my mom for a early b day dinner here. next time i go back i will request for a different server. by the way this is the second time this has happen with the same server joseph!!!
(3)Bill U.
Spent 15 minutes on a Thursday evening being ignored at the bar. Left without being able to offer any opinion on the food. Too bad....looked nice.
(1)Cynthia Jonell K.
Service was great but the food!!!! goodness me... i never had sashimi that has orange flavor in it. They place the sashimi with slices of orange allowing the fish to absorb the essence of orange thus causing the taste to be way off. They do deserve 2 stars for they impressive display of the sashimi thou.
(2)Nev T.
Great place :)))) , can't give it enough stars, almost the best sushi I've had in the US. If you are in to trying something different, try the vinegar drinks.
(5)Leslie R.
Me and my friend ended up going here for lunch. I ordered a lunch box special--fried rice, hibachi vegetables, avocado roll, and a spring roll. The quality of food wasn't mad-I've had better but it isn't terrible. The price was reasonable and our waitress was very attentive. She even gave my friend an extra bowl of rice for free which was a plus. The atmosphere was really nice-great for dates. As I said this place isn't bad--it's tasty, however I've had better!
(4)T L.
I was here on vacation and we stopped here for both sushi and hibachi....both were excellent, and I would definitely recommend to anyone who is passing through the area (it's near the airport & Boeing). The decor is upscale and there is a nice little bar area. Although our server the first day was new, she did a fine job and made sure we had everything we needed. I had the yellowtail jalapeno, the rock and roll, and the crab salad appetizer....all were very good.

My first sushi experience in South Carolina, I'm sorry to say, was THE WORST, MOST HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE. Where to start? The ditsy waitress with the hole in her shirt, who didn't bring out my mom's sushi roll, blamed the sushi chef, and proceeded to try and charge us for it? Or the fact that she was nice enough to bring over the bill midway through dinner? Didn't even ask if we wanted dessert (we decided we didn't want one, anyway, given the level of service at this establishment). Actually my personal favorite was when I was informed that the charge to my card for the sushi roll we never got would be reversed...get this...IN 3 DAYS. Ya know. Say what you want about New Yorkers. I happen to be one (not thumping my chest here...I actually hate fellow New Yorkers, too). But Jeez, people. Could you BE any more inhospitable? You do realize that you work in a CUSTOMER-oriented environment, right? I mean you're not working in some back office somewhere counting paper clips, are you? You keep treating customers like this, and I'm afraid the only living things eating in your restaurant will be the mice. Do yourselves a favor and reconsider your position on customer service. Go ahead and think I'm a jerk, but never before have I been so happy to under-tip a working-class server. Let my coins clanging in your tip jar be a reminder that you'll be picking out of the bargain bin at Best Buy for movie night this week.
(1)Cesar L.
Good and fresh sushi; ordered the Dancing Eel Roll and Crunchy Roll. Both were outstanding. The service was good, the restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere. I will definitely go back.
(4)David M.
I wasn't expecting much, but the sushi and sashimi were surprisingly good! The white Tuna was good, but somehow the salmon was amazingly good. The service was adequate and I was a happy camper.
(4)Rian B.
Been here several times - not a huge fan - your average Americanized "sushi" with tons of sauce and other crap that makes it completely unhealthy. Not that tasty. Last time out waitress was really sweet though. Can't remember her name but she told us when we wanted to order more sushi that the sushi bar was closing. We said "no problem". She came back and said that the chef said it was all good and asked what we wanted. She made the experience good last time. But we have had other waiters that have been just okay. I'm sure we will be back. But not my first choice by any means.

Sake House is a great hibachi restaurant. My two dining companions and I each got hibachi (which also included soup and salad) as our main meal, plus a sushi roll for each of us as an appetizer. I loved that on my cherry blossom roll when they said it's topped with an abundance of fish roe, they actually meant it (some places really skimp on the roe, and it's one of my favorite ingredients). The soup was pretty standard. The salad was okay...I would say the ginger dressing was only so-so compared with what I've had at other restaurants...it tasted sort of like the took Thousand Island dressing and added some ginger to it. The actual hibachi portion (I ordered the steak and shrimp version) was delicious, if fairly standard hibachi fare. I will say that the prices seemed to be just slightly lower than what I would expect to pay at this sort of restaurant, which is always a plus. Our server seemed a bit distant. She was attentive enough; she just never seemed to attempt to engage us, or, you know, smile. Our hibachi chef, however, was more than able to make up for this. While most of the tricks he performed were what you would see at any similar restaurant (onion volcano, tossing a spinning egg on a spatula, etc.), his lively, winning personality made the show feel fresh. I also love the ambiance of this place. I feel like they took a bit of a risk with the funky blue glow-lights over the hibachi stoves--such a look could make it feel that they're trying too hard to be "cool"--but I felt as though there was enough energy in the room to make the restaurant feel as though it actually has a trendy vibe, and not that it's just trying to have a trendy vibe. Overall a fun, pleasurable dining experience.
(4)Travis C.
Pretty good sushi and rolls. The "churchy" roll is the best. The decor and outside of the establishment looks dated, especially at night. If you want sushi you will be seated in the front of the restaurant and in the back if you want hibachi. All In all I would give it 3 1/2 stars.
(3)Katie K.
I had the shrimp tempura roll, veggie roll, and a side of fried rice. Everything was perfect! The peach sake is great and the waiter was nice as well.
(5)Stevie C.
For a Japanese steakhouse this place is pretty good. We had the rainbow and philly rolls to start and though they took a little longer than you'd expect they were worth it. The actual grill chefs seem to be of differing quality judging by the variety we saw while dining here. I kinda liked that. It made me feel like every table was getting a unique experience. For dinner we had steak, chicken and shrimp and the quality of the meats was pretty decent. The waitress was very attentive and she even asked if we wanted water right before we left. She must know how much we love soy sauce. Overall, I don't understand why so many low stars. Large portions of good food so no complaints from me.
(4)Ricky W.
Great place that has a Beni Hana atmosphere. The food is excellent and the service is good. I have eaten here 3 times in the last couple of months. Twice I had just Sushi, and once I had the Hibachi experience. I was never disappointed with anything I have eaten here. I do recommend the Yellowtail Jalapeño dish, as it is excellent. I will eat here again.
(4)Jules R.
This place is awesome! Between the great atmosphere and the sake squirting I am pretty sure I could come here everyday. I was here last Saturday evening while visiting my boyfriend. We went out with his Navy buddies and their wives. Just like any other hibachi place I've ever been to, this one gave each person enough food to feed a family of four. Our hibachi chef was really cool. He generously squirted enough sake into the mouth of anybody who volunteered to let him do it. I was first because I thought I could take it like a champ but little did I know this guy was going to give me enough sake that I would have a waterfall coming out of my mouth. He did the same thing to anybody else who wanted sake. If you want good, clean and free booze fun then this is the place for you!
(5)Herm T.
i love hibachi food and this place is a very well decorated restaurant. I perfer wasabi but we were at the outlets so we decided to try it. The service and sushi was great. My steak had too much teriayki sauce and it made it tooooo sweet.. they added that to the salmon my sister ordered too. overall i would stick with Wasabi..

This was the first restaurant I visited, on my first night in Charleston. I was hungry and tired after an entire day on an airplane, and I just wanted something fast and fresh. This place definitely fit the bill. It was late on a Thursday night, and we arrived about half an hour before closing time. Still, the hostess welcomed us with a friendly smile and led us into an adjoining room. The atmosphere is spacious, dark, and has blue lights over the grill (probably to counteract the heat of the grill). The seating around the grill encouraged a friendly atmosphere with the two other patrons that were there. All in all, despite how large the place was, the layout encouraged a cozy, casual, and relaxed atmosphere. The service was prompt and friendly, and our chef was awesome. He was funny, talented, and cooked up a plate of delicious food in no time. I say he was talented, because he operated that grill with skill, flipping his knife/spatula thing around with artistic flair, and even balanced and BOUNCED a freakin' EGG several times on the edge of his spatula. It was impressive! The food was tasty and the portions were just right. I hope this place gets lots of business; they deserve it. Since I was there late on a Thursday evening, it was pretty empty, so I can't say how it would be on a Friday night. But it is a very large space, with a cool fountain in the foyer, and lots of bar space and what looked like about 4 griddles with plenty of seating around each one just in the area we were in, so I can't imagine that anyone would suffer too long of a wait time on a busier night.
(5)Steve A.
This place is great. The sushi chief made me feel so welcome giving me an appetizer on the house and made sure the sushi deluxe was what I wanted. Ask for Britney, she is special attending to all my needs before I think of them. I know my sushi and I love this place!
(5)Hong K.
Went there for dinner after being near for work. The place was empty on a Tuesday night. Went to the sushi bar since doing the Hibachi alone is sad for me. All the rolls were good to better. They did all taste very fresh. One story to tell. While I was sitting there by my lonesome there came in a caucasian female and male. They sat down a couple of seat from me. Obiously they weren't a couple since she was a successful attractive mature lady. The guy is a middle aged wanna-be computer geek who tries to be worldly. He spends about 5 minutes about how much he knows about Japanese cuisine. And then he asks the sushi chef if they have this and that,, not really ordering it. Finally he asks if they Natto! Really? Natto? When the Sushi chef says that he doesn't know what that is, he says "Wow! Really?Wow!,,, Really?. Are you kidding me? What Japanese place can survive in Charleston, if they sell Natto? It proves that he just heard about and have never smelled or tasted the thing,, oh and Natto is a traditional Breakfast food!,, and acting like you know Japanese culture,, if you knew better, you would know that the sushi chef was Korean! What a pompus &($(^

Delicious food, excellent service, and fun hibachi entertainment. We were incredibly pleased with this place and highly suprised it was not busy at 7pm on a Saturday! We had steak and veggie hibachi and a dinosaur roll. The steak was cooked perfectly medium as we requested and the veggies were nice and tender. The dinosaur roll was one of the best rolls I have had in a long time. Highly recommended, we will be back!
(5)Dan N.
Good sushi and a good overall hibachi experience. The service is somewhat hit or miss. I've gone here before and had awesome service and other times had very slow service. The menu is fairly expansive, catering to most sushi lovers. I've had the Dragon Roll, the Out of Control Roll, and the Rainbow Roll to name a few. I've had both the chicken and steak hibachi, and neither disappointed. If you're shopping at the Tanger Outlets, Saki House is worth a look if you want something other than BBQ or fast food.
(4)Dwayne M.
Friendly immediate fast service. Sushi and sashimi are top shelf. The fish has a buttery smooth texture and tasted as fresh as they come. The bed of rice was firm but milky smooth in texture and flavor. My waitress was not a big lover of all things sushi which made it a bit awkward to discuss the menu, but she was polite and accommodating, still five stars. Definite picks up as the night moves on.

We went to sake house after a very favorable review from one of our friends. What we got was not the experience we had hoped for. We ordered a carafe of hot sake which was more like luke warm sake. we were given small paper cups for the sake, which ended up leaking out by the end of the night. The waitress forgot to put in one of the sushi rolls we had ordered. The person doing the hibachi forgot to serve my scallops with my dinner. Overall the food was delicous, and the sushi presentation superb. The server was nice, but slightly incompetent. I don't know if I can go back to a place where even though I am spending 120$ I still only get a paper cup.

Went there with good friend of mine visiting. she loves sushi so this was a good option. Alright i had fried sushi for the first time at this place and enjoyed every taste of it. Also had strawberry daiquiri which was good. very spacious and love the decor inside the restaurant.
